Cable Winch Retractor
Product Brochure
Cable Winch Retractor
For precise, individual applications in the peritoneal cavity
The ulrich medical® cable winch retractor was developed by ulrich medical® in cooperation with Ulm University.
Unique throughout the world, the cable winch technology used in the system allows surgeons to adjust retraction as desired with no preset positions when working in the peritoneal cavity.
Thanks to flexible positioning for the insulated cables on the overhead bar, surgeons using the ulrich medical® cable winch retractor can adapt the system to the situation at hand, adjusting the direction of traction and the position of the blades with exceptional precision.
The retractor system is easy to mount on the upper section of the operating table, providing an optimum view of the operating site – even in difficult cases – and giving the surgeon the best possible visibility and range of motion.
· Ideal patient care and reduced tissue trauma
thanks to a wide selection of blades in a variety of shapes and sizes
· The retractor is easy to set up and position
thanks to the scalable support rods and the three mounting positions for the overhead bar – suitable for operating tables of any width
· The system can be processed in a standard sterilization container
thanks to the foldable design of the frame
· Considerable stability and longevity
thanks to carefully selected, high-quality materials
· Insulated cables
Abdominal Frame (Zenker)
Product Brochure
acc. to Zenker
For all kinds of abdominal surgery – suitable for use in combination with ulrich medical® retractor systems
Whether used on its own or in combination with ulrich medical® retractor systems, the performance of the abdominal frame acc. to Zenker is impressive in a wide array of visceral surgery applications. Plus, this ingenious system has also been shown to be a helpful surgical tool in the fields of gynecology and urology.
The frame comes with four tabs for mounting and securely positioning blades through mounting holes in the blades. The tabs can be slid along the frame, making it easy to position the blades precisely, even when surgery is already underway.
Blades with mounting hooks can also be used and any number of these blades can be affixed to the frame at any location where no tabs are located.
· The perfect frame size for every application
thanks to a large selection of frame diameters – from 250 to 500 mm
· Can be processed in a standard sterilization container
thanks to a foldable design
· Prevents additional tissue trauma
thanks to a wide variety of blades

Product Brochure
Rib Retractor (Rochard)
acc. to Rochard
For standard applications or surgeries of the upper abdomen
The rib retractor acc. to Rochard is considered to be the classic retractor for open stomach surgery.
Because it applies constant traction, the system provides uninterrupted visibility of the operating site, up to the edge of the rib cage, providing ideal
support for the user during an operation.
Because it is mounted on an insulated traction bar, the hook acc. to rochard can be adjusted to a variety of positions. The stand‘s two supports provide additional stability.
· Suitable for variable applications
thanks to a selection of five different hook widths
· A variety of positions
thanks to the hook acc. to rochard and traction bar, which combine to offer nine different positioning options
· Efficient processing
thanks to the removable horizontal rod and the resulting modest space requirements
· Considerable stability and longevity
thanks to carefully selected, high-quality materials
· Insulated traction bar
